Matt is a writer and social impact consultant from the North East of England. He has worked as a carer, teacher, police officer and in leadership roles across the charity and social sectors.

Matt is the author of three books, including Into the Night: A Year with the Police (Picador, 2023), and works with organisations to increase their social impact and bring about social change.
